Launching of the European Times in Budapest
Budapest, Hungary—September 11, 2008–
On September 3, 2008 in Budapest the first issue of the European Times on Hungary was formally launched. On September 11, 2008 Hungary’s elite gathered at the 5 star chic, up- scale Boscolo New York Palace Hotel for a launch ceremony and reception.
The European Times Representative Ms. Banks announced the official launch of the issue. She said: “Our initiatives to promote Hungarian business potential to our targeted readership has been greatly supported by the key political and industry leaders in Hungary to put a spotlight the recent success of the economy and future potential” Her sentiments were echoed by the Publisher of the European Times Mr. Mathieu Cuypers: “Hungary is a stellar example of what has gone right in Eastern Europe’s transition to free market economy.”
The event provided another platform for the country’s political leaders and most formidable business leaders to express their collaborative efforts in pursuit to attract more investment from Western Europe.

Among the guests at the launch, Dr. Abel Garamhegyi Governor Commissioner voiced his support for the magazine: “We are extremely proud of this report and the initiatives of the European Times. This publication takes an in- depth analysis on the Hungarian economy which can enhance the quality of our international investors.”
Dr. Istvan Forian, the Director Strategy, Regional and International Relations of ITD Hungary stressed “this is a detailed investment guide which will have a long shelf life which will serve as great promotion of Hungarian business and investment potential.”
The representation of Hungary showcases both true Hungarian companies and multinational corporations in order to stress the high level of ease to doing business in Hungary. The country’s key competitive advantages maximize any potential investor’s projects or business ventures.

This edition of The European Times, which features solely Hungary, distributed at London Heathrow Airport, Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport and other distribution points; will serve as an investment information guide and promote Hungary’s key enterprises.
